Under the terms and due to legal effects, the management of NorthShore Hostel informs its esteemed guests of the following operating rules of its space, so that we can provide the best experience:
. The NorthShore Hostel will provide the Customer with a room of the category booked from the date of arrival or, in case the Client has not made a reservation and contracts the accommodation at the reception of the hostel, depending on the category desired and according to the availability of the hostel.
. Upon arrival at the hostel, the Client must immediately proceed to pay for the room, the number of nights of stay and additional services.
. When checking in, “NorthShore Hostel” reserves the right to require a security deposit of € 25.00 to € 50.00 per person to guarantee the payment of any damages that may be caused during your stay.
. For full payment of the price, NorthShore Hostel will provide the Customer with a code of access to the Hostel and the corresponding key to the room that will remain valid during the contracted stay period.
. On the date of departure, the Client will have to vacate the room without any damages until 12 noon.
. If the room is not left until 12 noon on the day of departure, a compensation corresponding to the price of an overnight stay in the hostel will be immediately charged, and will only be entitled to use the room in that period if the hostel has room availability, otherwise you will have to pay the compensation and leave the room as soon as possible.
. At checkout, all keys must be returned, without any damages that prevent their use. If all keys are not returned, or if they are damaged, € 2.00 (two euros) will be deducted from the deposit amount or charged directly for each missing/damaged key. during your stay.
. Upon check-out, and once verified the absence of any damages the value of the deposit, will be returned to the guest.
. If there is any damage to the Hostel, directly attributable to the guest, the amount necessary to repair the damage will be directly and automatically deducted from the value of the security deposit provided by the guest, without prejudice to the adoption of the appropriate judicial means for this purpose.
. Without prejudice to the above and the general rules on local accommodation, it is not allowed inside the hostel facilities:
– To change the layout of the rooms;
– Leave trash in common and private spaces;
– Excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages inside the hostel;
– Drink or eat, except in the dining area.
– Adopt any conduct that may jeopardize the regular operation of the hostel or disrupt the quality of service to be provided to other guests.
– Use of the kitchen except for the microwave.
. It is expressly forbidden to host animals at NorthShore Hostel.
. The introduction, by the Customer, of animals in the hostel will permit NorthShore Hostel to immediately terminate the contract with the Client and oblige him to leave the hostel without being reimbursed the amounts paid for the availability of the room during the period of stay contracted.
. Only the people indicated in the accommodation reservation will be entitled to use the hostel room.
. Customers should treat the hostel’s room with care and consideration.• The Client must treat the other clients of the hostel with consideration and respect the rules of the hostel, which are also part of the accommodations contract.
. Children under 14 years of age must be supervised by an adult client at all times during their stay at the hostel.
. The NorthShore Hostel assumes no responsibility for the theft, loss or deterioration of valuables such as money, jewelry or other items of considerable value should such events occur in the hostel room.
. For urbanity, all guests are requested to minimize the noise in the common areas, with special attention to the corridors and areas of proximity to the rooms.
. No noise is allowed between 23:00 and 7:00 the next day (Decree-Law no. 9/2007, of 17 January). If the noise does not cease after the guest has been called, the competent authorities will be called. Violation of these rules constitutes misconduct and may be sanctioned under applicable legal terms.
. In accordance with the provisions of art. 4, no. 1, letter p) of Law no. 63/2017, of August 3, smoking is prohibited in the establishment.
. Whenever there are violations of this rule, any employee of the hostel should determine that smokers refrain from smoking and, if they do not comply, will be called the administrative or police authorities, who will draw up their report.
Access to the hostel room by NorthShore Hostel
. The NorthShore Hostel and its staff will have the right to enter the hostel room during the stay of the Client in order to carry out cleaning, repair, and similar work.
